Hinterland Family Counselling

HFC provides counselling to children, young people and adults.

HFC is operated by Registered Social Worker, Leia Mackie, who has over 15 years experience working with families who have experienced complex trauma, family ruptures or family violence.

Counsellors at HFC draw from a wide range of therapies including cognitive behaviour therapy, play therapy, narrative therapy, Dyadic Development Psychotherapy, Hakomi Psychotherapy and Interactive Drawing Therapy. Therapist work within a trauma informed model with a focus on healing, building resilience and restoring capacity.
